number and e-mail address, as well as the composition of the people who will be staying with us, in particular the number and age of children. We may
also ask you for information about a credit or payment card used for the performance of our contract (collection of a deposit and payment of the sums
due to us). All this information can be passed on to us by third parties with whom we may contract to be introduced to
you (e.g. online travel agencies). Accessing our website or our pages on social networks may also lead to the automatic collection of
certain information about you such as the IP address from which you connect, the type of device you use, the pages you visit on our site and
your possible interactions with this site.
Why do we collect this information?
We only collect and store the data that we feel is necessary for the conclusion and performance of the agreements we enter into with our guests, for
the protection of our rights or the fulfillment of the obligations imposed upon us by law and applicable regulations (e.g. to evidence the reality of
client accounts created in our accounts and of payments made). We never bother our guests with commercial communications or allegedly non-commercial but
aimed at keeping in touch with them.
Who do we share this information with?
We never sell or share your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. With your consent, we may communicate your request for
accommodation availability to which we can not respond favorably to friends or partners, especially those who are members of the association of
Maisons d’Hôte de Provence to which we belong.
When required by law or strictly necessary for the performance of our obligations or for the protection of our rights, we may disclose your
personal information to the authorities, third parties who are subject to an obligation of professional secrecy or in court proceedings.
Security of your personal data
We strive to protect the security of your personal data as completely as possible. When personal data about you is processed
automatically, it is processed on computer systems with restricted access located in controlled premises. However, while we take reasonable
precautions to protect this data, no security system is foolproof. We use various technical and organisational measures to protect your
information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. We do not use automated processing that
involve client databases. The host of our website does not hold on our account any personal data relating to our guests.
Retention of personal data
We retain personal information as long as necessary for the purposes described above for which we hold it.
Your right of access and rectification
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you. You can inform us of any changes to your personal information, or request
that we correct the information we hold about you. Finally, you may ask us to erase or destroy the personal data, which we will gladly do
as long as the relevant information is no longer necessary for the purposes described above for which we hold it.
Police forms in relation to non-French guests (Fiches de police)
Pursuant to Article R611-42 of the Code of Entry and Stay of Foreigners and Right of Asylum, we are required to have each of our guests
who are nationals of a foreign country complete and sign a form indicating their name, first name, date and place of birth, domicile,
nationality, telephone number, e-mail address and the date of arrival and departure. We do not process these forms and simply hold them
at the disposal of the relevant authorities for six months from the beginning of the relevant stay and then destroyed them.
Of course, we do not use any information contained in these forms.
Other provisions of the Regulation
For the purposes of the Regulations, the information above is deemed to constitute our record of processing activities. For
